(Tectona Grandis) Our wooden garden furniture is made from Indonesian Teak and equipped with quality fittings of yellow galvanized steel. Teak is due to its extreme density one of the hardest and most durable wood species. Due to its natural grease-content Teak is almost non-rotting and ideal for year-round outdoor use.

Our teak furniture is made exclusively from premium government controlled teak plantations. The permanent reforestation ensures long term for availability of this renewable resource. We also use ground, sandblasted wood core. The process of “Verthyling” (natural closure of the pores) makes it, in opposite to sapwood, resistant to mildew and insect infestation.

New furniture might have sometimes a spotty striped structure. However, after a few days in the sun it’ll get the typical honey-colored surface due to the UV radiation. On the basis of weather effects, untreated teak will acquire this silver grey patina after a while, which is so much valued by the friends of Teak.
